Track blurts from each student quickly and easily. The poster should be printed on 11 x 17 paper and laminated. You can use a dry erase marker to write students' names who blurt in the bottom of each "thermometer" the first time they blurt and check the levels above for each subsequent blurt. Students have a great visual of the number of times they are blurting.
In my classroom I have two posters that I hang in the front of the room to use.
