About this resource:
When I created this game out of a desperate need for a new way to use my task cards, I had no idea how much my students would enjoy it or how versatile it would turn out to be. When it occurred to me that I didn't even need task cards and that I could use it with any old worksheet, it became one of my new favorite go-to resources.
This board game requires little to no prep work and few materials. It is oh-so-easy to differentiate with varied-level questions for different groups, and it keeps kids on-task beautifully. It can be pulled out as a filler activity when you have a few extra minutes at the end of class, or it can be played all period long.
The game accommodates up to ten teams, and it can be used by teachers of any grade level and content area. It's nice, but not absolutely necessary, to have an interactive whiteboard. All the functions can be executed using your computer and projector. Instructions are included. If you’d like to get a better sense of what the game looks like and how to use it, feel free to check out this brief video demonstration
that I uploaded to YouTube.
