Bobbin' for rhythms is a relay race-based game to review the rhythm of tam-ti (dotted quarter-eighth note). Your students will have a blast racing to the apples while reviewing the rhythms of ta, ti-ti, ta-a, tiri-tiri, rest, and tam-ti (eighth, quarter, half, sixteenths, quarter rest and dotted quarter eighth). Students are placed into teams. Each team has a set of apple rhythm cards on the other side of the room. Upon teachers cue, one student from each group races down to their designated pile to collect the correct apple rhythm card spoken or played by the teacher.
This set includes a color version, along with a printer-friendly black/white option. Just print, laminate, and cut for long lasting bobbin' apples of fun!
Notation includes standard notation and stick notation. The "Z' version of the rest is also included in the stick notation.
