I made this 2 sided worksheet adaptable to ANY written work. It's a great way for students to think about characters in literature and/or an author's perspective. Taking into consideration the heart, the eyes, hands, etc., this worksheet explains what each can mean literally and metaphorically when belonging to a character or author/poet. The first part is writing, where students map out their ideas, and the second page is where they can illustrate these ideas on an actual body. Students have always been engaged with this simple assignment. I use it over and over.
