Body bios are a way to get students to put a visual image to characterization. Students think critically about the physical appearance of a character, his/her surroundings, and the internal aspects of the character (i.e. what he/she feels, cares about, thinks, worries about, fears, etc.)
This templates provides an outline and basic instructions for the Body Bios activity. I recommend displaying this template on the SMARTBoard or Projector and having the students create their own "life-size" versions on butcher paper.
This has proved to be an engaging and fun activity in my classroom. Enjoy!
