*Over the course of a week you could cover reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar activities, all based around the theme of body language!*
WORKSHEETS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDED:
Listening and Speaking Activity
A listening activity in which learners watch a short instructional video on how to detect if someone is lying. Learners then discuss the content of the clip and are quizzed on their listening skills.
Learners are guided through reading an article about how body language can indicate power or weakness. This activity is discursive and teacher-lead.
These writing prompts focus on discursive writing and lead learners through a process of writing on the topic of body language. There are options for individual, paired or group work.
Visual Literacy Worksheet
A worksheet for learners to complete individually, which assesses their visual comprehension and reading skills.
Grammar Worksheet & Answers
This is a worksheet for learners to complete on their own to build on their language and grammar skills. The memorandum has also been provided.
Fun Interactive Ideas
Some more interactive and ‘fun’ activities to engage learners: a suggested film study; a drama game to build confidence; suggested interactive websites for learners to visit to work on their computer skills.
