Product Description
This is a lesson that can be used to assess and teach students about body parts. This lesson is designed to be student-driven and easily differentiated to make it as simple or complex as each student is capable and interested in learning. I have used this lesson successfully with beginning ELLs, preschool students, and elementary students, all with quite different end results (as is appropriate).

Subject Connections: Science, Language Arts

Learning Styles: Visual, Auditory

Multiple Intelligences (although MIs are questioned by some, it is helpful to think about diversifying the learning process, content, and products with these elements in mind): Visual, Verbal, Intrapersonal

Objectives:
SWBAT recognize and identify (pointing and words, if applicable) body parts
SWBAT identify how to use his/her body parts
SWBAT make connections between body parts and means of communication
