This lab includes six different "stations" that allow students to investigate how different body systems interact. It takes about two full class periods and really engages students in understanding system interactions. I've put this in a .docx format so you can edit and differentiate according to your classroom and students' needs. Enjoy!
Two stations are "hands on" and require recording and analyzing data.
Two stations require students to watch videos and make observations about different system interactions.
Two stations require reading, analyzing, and making a model of system interactions.
HS-LS1-2. Develop and use a model to illustrate the hierarchical organization of interacting systems that provide specific functions within multicellular organisms.
