This is a power-point format - printable -- they are guided notes outlines for students to research the different body systems
The way I ran it in my classroom -
I split my kinds into groups of 2 (though 3-4 will also work with bigger classes) and then I gave them their biology text book as well as links that I found most appropriate for them to perform research with. Then I had each group fill out the 2 pages based on their system as well as 1 vocabulary pages with words that THEY found most important.
Each week the groups would get a new system to research and work on and at the end of each week the students would put together a powerpoint or a "book" all about that system
So by the end of the unit every group would have an entire anatomy presentation or "book" that they would then make copies of and give to their peers.
I have used this as a PRE- teaching method as well as a Post- teaching method.
