Need a new game for your classroom? Try playing Boggle with these Scrabble letters. Included are the letters of the alphabet - consonants in blue and vowels in red.
Each tile has the points listed on it, just like in Scrabble, which you can choose to ignore or not ignore. If you'd like to use the points, simply have students add up the amount of points they get for each letter used.
The point of the game is for students to create as many words as they can from a 4x4 board (16 letters/tiles). Students can write their words (and points) on a piece of paper or you can spread them out on the floor and have students rearrange them.
This will help students recognize letters to make, read and spell words.
[[To make this board prettier, I would print these out and paste them onto colored paper with a fancy trim! And of course, laminate these!!]]
