This is my favorite way to introduce the Periodic Table! The goal is to arrange the Bohr diagrams so that there is something consistently changing as they go across and down.
The students cut out pieces and place them on a worksheet. I always tell them to let me check the worksheet and then they can glue the pieces in their proper place.
I do this activity prior to ever mentioning the periodic table or Bohr diagrams, so they begin to self teach themselves about periodic trends!
