Bonding Practice & Illustrations

Students follow directions to create illustrations of how ionic & covalent bonds are formed.

I used this in both Biology and Chemistry class. I would do this as an independent practice but I would make the answer key available either in the class or online (to me it was more important that they got to the correct answer!)

For Biology, understanding the movement of electrons and what a bond is will be important to know since bonds are so important when discussing how macromolecules are built and broken.
