If your students are anything like mine, they need LOTS of practice with there, their, and they’re! That’s why I created this fun Dog-Themed SMARTBoard file with printables. It makes a perfect mini-lesson, with built-in practice opportunities. After a quick review of when to use each word, students practice choosing the correct word and dragging it to fill in the blank. To check, they then drag the “magic magnifying glass” over the bone to see the answer. The rest of the class follows along on the printables. For an added challenge, ask the student who came to the SMARTBoard to explain why they chose the word they did, according to the explanations given in the file.
You will receive:
• 32-page SMARTBoard file with explanations of when to use each word and 25 practice examples
• “Digging for Bones” team game with score sheet
• 3-page printable with all of the examples from the SMARTBoard file
**IMPORTANT! This is a Smart Notebook file. You must have this or compatible software to open it. If you are unsure, please download my preview. While the pages are only screenshots of the actual Notebook files, I did include a sample magic magnifying glass. If you are able to move the magnifying glass and read the text on the bone, you should be able to use this file.
Thanks for checking out my file! Please let me know if you have any questions.
