This document includes information, an activity 'tic tac toe' for choosing activities to use as a response, and large (A4) information flashcard style pages with questions for students to use to develop science capabilities. You can use in centers for upper levels, in groups or as a whole class. Encourage students to observe without inferring first, then let them infer, then wonder and imagine.
