Teaching bones? Try this small activity. Your students will:
*pin the heart on the skeleton
*learn vocabulary by reading a fill-in-the-blank worksheet
*learn about careers that deal with bones with a group discussion (cards included)
Simply cut out the bones that I have provided, put them together as per the example that is included, and play pin-the-tail on the donkey except with the included heart and skeleton. (Download the PREVIEW to see what the skeleton would look like. I drew the bones myself)
As a class or individually, read the paragraph and have students fill in the blank with the intended vocabulary that is in the word bank. An answer key is provided.
Put students in groups of 5 and have them discuss and then teach the other 4 groups about their job (see thumbnail).
This is great for any time of the year or for something to do on Halloween!
