Students will learn about the similarities and differences between two friends, Boney Bombonelli, and Meadley Baldovino, while reading the fictional short story, "Boney Bombonelli." This educational animated story gives a variety of words. Students will write a synonym from the story that is closely related to a word with the same or similar meaning. Students will also become familiar with using a thesaurus to discover synonyms as well. In addition,students will list antonyms found in the story and decide which pair of words have opposite meanings.Through a series of activities, this short story was created to increase student knowledge of vocabulary in an exhaustive way.
