A Halloween Sight Word Game
This is a sight word game to play with a small group. It includes 68 sight words, 10 color words, the number words zero – ten, and 6 special cards. I have also included a page of blank cards to add any words you need. I pick 10 – 15 words to use and put 3 to 4 of each word in the game.

The children take turns drawing cards. They keep the card if they can read it and discard it if they don’t. The first time we play, I tell my children the word if they don’t know it, have them then say the word, and keep it. The second time we play,
they must discard the card if they don’t know it. If they draw a ‘Boo!’ card, they must put all their cards in the discard pile. If they draw a candy card, they draw 2 additional cards, or you can have them take a card from each player. The person with the most cards after all are drawn is the winner.
