Here you will find resources to help you set up your very own Book Buffet!
My students absolutely LOVED this activity, and I know yours will too!
I got the idea for a buffet, as my desks prohibit me from seating the students around tables of books. I put long tables in the middle of the room with restaurant tablecloths, and put out baskets of various books! When doing a book tasting buffet style, you can make it easy for students to sample a variety of different titles and genres!
Included in this resource:
~ 2 different signs welcoming students to your Book Buffet!
~ Book Buffet placemats (pre-made version PLUS editable text version)
~ Book Buffet critic notes where students will record their reflections on the books that
they sample . (2 versions to choose from for different aged students)
~ Foldable Table number signs (1-15)
~ Reservation list for the buffet
~ Student Reflection page (to TIP for the teacher!)
~ A full page of set-up tips, suggestions, and notes
Enjoy! Bon Appètit!
