Description

Teach your students how to take care of their library or classroom books with this activity pack.

Sorting Activities:

20 picture cards for students to sort (things they should do with their library books and things they shouldn't)

20 sentence cards that match the pictures

Have students sort the picture and or sentence cards under the correct column. If the picture shows something that they should do with the books it goes under the “Yes we do” column. If it is something they should not do it goes under the “No we don’t” card.

A minibook for students to color that reviews these book care rules. A promise page is at the end where students promise to take care of their books.

2 letters to send home telling parents that their child has an overdue book or that a book has been damaged

Reminder notes:

Notes to send home to parents reminding parents when their child's library book is due back.

34 pages of notes - 4 to a page

17 pages in color and 17 in black/white

Editable PowerPoint file for the letters and reminder notes. You must have PowerPoint to open the file. You can edit the wording of the letters and change/delete the text on the reminder notes. The fonts are embedded into the file.
