Description

We created this guide for book clubs and for teachers. It is our hope that the questions, statements, and connections in the guide will facilitate more meaningful discussion with your book club or within your class. If you’re using the book flight options (books are listed within the guide) within your class, you could use them as lit circle choices and could use these materials to pull together the larger, whole class activities. The statements section would work well as an anticipation guide in the classroom.

This guide provides a list of read alike books perfect for lit circles. It also provides links to book descriptions, statements to discuss regarding the theme (perfect for an anticipation guide), discussion questions for the overarching theme of the book flight (note: there are not individual discussion questions for each book) and connections between the books in the flight.

We created all materials using the Google Suite. Please contact us if you have any problems with the files. We can send them to you in a different way.
