After reading the book Disruptive Thinking by Kylene Beers & Robert E. Probst I was inspired to make this brochure to help my students as they read their independent novel.
I give my students two weeks to read a section their independent novel and after they read each time they add what they have learned or observed from reading. By having students fill out this brochure they are kept accountable for what they have read. Once the brochure is complete it should represent two weeks worth of reading.
