A great time saver for teachers and a great way to foster student/classroom independence and responsibility!
To create your own "Book Hospital" in your classroom for any book or magazine that needs repaired, just print and laminate the desired signs, then attach each to their own basket or box. Don't forget to print the "Admissions Form."
When a student finds a book or magazine that needs repaired, he or she fills out a admittance form, puts it inside the book, and leaves it in the "Waiting Room" box for repair.
The designated doctor checks the "Waiting Room" box, makes repairs, and then puts the book in the "Out Patient" box for students to return the book back to the shelf.
Book Hospitals are a great way to use parents, aides, or other helpers in the classroom.
