These labels are wonderful for keeping your classroom organized and limiting disruptions!
I use the book hospital label in my classroom library. I teach my students that, whenever a book is in need of repair, they can bring the book to the "Book Hospital". This increases student independence and responsibility, increases student caring about treasuring books by keeping them nice, and decreases interruptions because students no longer bring the book to you while you're teaching, but simply place the book quietly in the bin, for you or a volunteer to repair at a later time.
The lost and found label is a great help for classroom management and organization as well! I teach my students that, if they find something, they should put it away where they know it belongs. But, if they don't know where it belongs or who it belongs to, instead of asking me while I'm teaching, they simply place the item in the lost and found bin. Later, students can check for lost items in the bin and help to put away any lost classroom materials that may have been placed in there. It's another great way to reduce interruptions and increase student responsibility and caring. :)
Each label is approximately 3 inches by 4 inches. Just print them onto cardstock, laminate, and affix them to your classroom bins or containers.
Have fun organizing!
