In this editable worksheet, students will preview a book that they will read. Great for all grade levels and books! Using the book, they will answer questions that will help them understand the basics of the book: the title, author, number of chapters/pages. They will also read the information provided on the back or inside cover and look at the cover art to write a summary and make a prediction. Lastly, they will set reading goals for themselves based on the number of pages and the amount of time provided to read the book. If desired, they can cut-off the bottom portion of reading goals and use it as a bookmark. This is a great way to help them keep up with their deadlines! The questions and information can be changed to meet the needs of your class.
