Do your students get excited to pretend they are a teacher? Do they like creating worksheets in their free time?
I created this open-ended project for kids to show their understanding of a book they've completed. This would work for a leveled reader, selection from an anthology, a library book, or a book you've assigned.
Students create 3 worksheets from the following options: vocabulary, question & answers, character map, illustrated worksheet, or a choice of their own. Students will pretend as if they are a teacher and they'll create both the worksheet and attach an answer key.
Great options for your high-flyer or students who love a challenge! You can give a time frame for this project or make it more open ended. I like to do this during an entire theme (4-6 weeks) in my ELA block so they have time to read, create the worksheets, edit, create final copies, and finalize answer keys.
How to get TpT credit to use for future purchases:
*Please go to your "My Purchases" page. Beside each purchase, you’ll see a "Provide Feedback" button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback on a purchase, TpT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases.
