Welcome to the Book Recommendation Book Report. This book report will get your students to think about others by recommending a book for someone else to read. It makes for a great project.
This worksheet will work well with any age of students, but especially with students from Kindergarten through third grade. Students will choose a favorite book and write about it on an open book graphic. After filling out their name and information on the book’s title, students can color a drawing of the book. There is a second option where they can also write why they like the book. As a librarian, I have students write the call number of the book on the spine. Both worksheets work great for displays or bulletin boards.
Images for this worksheet are NOT in the public domain. The hands and open book came from the website https://www.mycutegraphics.com/ The outline of a face came from https://openclipart.org/detail/182158/
Thank you for downloading this activity. If you enjoy this, please check my store for more fun book reports that students love to do. There is also another book report similar to this one where students can suggest to another person and use a photo or draw a face of the recipient.
