I have been using book recommendation cards in my classroom for several years, and my students love them! They truly enjoy recommending books they’ve read to their classmates, as well as reading books that their classmates recommend!
These cards can be used in many ways:
1. Students can fill out a card and post it in the classroom library near the book.
2. You can create a ‘Book Recommendation’ bulletin board.
3. You can use a Book Recommendation Tree for students to share books (sample picture in product).
This product includes 6 different font/number combinations, including two different sets of cards without numbers. You can choose to assign each student a number so that they use the same card over and over, or use the cards without numbers. Cards with numbers go up to 40 for teachers who have large classes.
You can download the preview to get a better idea of what the cards look like!
