Sometimes students need help deciding what to read next and this is a very important skill for them to develop as readers. These labels will help students to develop this skill and find their “next read”.
The student can use these labels to find suggestions based their opinion of the book they just finished. This is just like when online businesses make a suggestion based on your purchase.
There are labels that can be put on the back of a library label so that when students put a book back in the classroom library they can just flip the label over for suggested books. There are also mini labels that can put taped to the inside covers of library books. I have included editable versions of both sizes in case you should need to add titles.
This is just another strategy to promote reading in your class!
