This Book Report Lapbook can be used with any literature or fictional book!
*Use either a manilla folder or long construction paper and fold the two ends to meet in the middle to create the lapbook.
-two cover pages (boy & girl option)
-Flip book in center to work on retelling or recounting the story. Students will illustrate and write about the key details in the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
-Students will illustrate their own version of the front cover of the book.
-Students will illustrate and describe the lesson or moral learned in the story.
-Character flip: Students draw the physical features of the main character and flip it open to describe the character's personality, motivations, and traits.
-Illustrate the setting!
-New vocabulary words flips: write 4 new words learned in this book and write the definition of the words under the flaps
-Students will rate and review the book!
Great whole group or independent project. This could be used in 1st-4th grade. This activity could be used to gifted or extension activities within the classroom as well.
