This project is designed to be completed as both a reading and writing assignment. Students read and reflect on the book during reading class, and then write and revise the book review in writing class. There is an optional oral presentation component to the project. The project also includes an optional technology component, where students use the internet to create a “glog” or visual blog about their book. It will probably take 4-5 weeks (2 weeks for reading and 2-3 weeks for the writing and presentations).
