If you're like me, it takes a lot of time to record notes of chapter books as I read. Here is my chapter-by-chapter summary along with a vocab word bank of words that could be tricky or confusing either in meaning or pronunciation.
Use this guide as you prepare your lessons for your guided reading groups. It is always recommended that you read each book you assign your students, but it will be MUCH faster if you don't have to stop every few pages to record your notes about what you've read. As time passes, we can easily forget the story, but with this book summary you won't have to re-read it. Or if you’ve already read the book but never took notes – here they are! Or... you may find my notes thorough enough. :)
