I have been using this “Author Study” idea for over 10 years. It has morphed into this Guided Reading Author Study that I happily share with you!
My students LOVE series books and certain authors (Roald Dahl and Dan Gutman are popular with my 4th graders)…So this is an excellent way to incorporate some of the books THEY LOVE—and take a closer look at those talented authors!
