Book talks and discussions are an important part of a novel study. As students mature it is important to put some of the pressure on them to come up with high quality questions that require higher order thinking.
These sheets outline the responsibilities of both the students leading the book talk and those participating in it. I've also provided a set of suggestions for the teacher on how to implement this lesson.
I used this with college students, many of whom were still in high school and they loved it. I hope it works as well for your students too!
