Product Description
I use this template for my 4th graders' first book talk of the year. I model the entire process with a book we have read all together. This is easily adaptable for any fiction book at any level. For the beginning of the year, I usually have my kiddoes give a book talk on a picture book. I have my lowest readers work in a small group with me to put their book talk together all using the same book. Some students I partner up to work together on a book, and my highest students do this independently.
