A rubric/ scoring guide written in kid-friendly terms for assessing book talks. This scoring guide can be used as a peer-evaluation, self-evaluation, or teacher-evaluation. Categories used to assess are written in question-format such as "Did I tell what kind of book this is? Did I bring the book? Other visual aid?" and include details such as using good presentation skills, telling the audience about the book without giving it away, and rehearsing the presentation. This rubric could be altered and used in a variety of ways for other presentations. This could be used in conjunction with Tmoser's Independent Reading Contract assignment posted for free.
