Looking for fun games to play in your Library?
This set of dominoes allows students to match up well-known picture book titles with their authors. They can match the dominoes end to end, or at right angles.
There are 36 dominoes, as well as 6 blanks (you cannot edit them online due to clip art restrictions, but you can type your own titles and authors in Word and paste them onto the cards before laminating. I used 12 pt type for the book titles and 18 pt type for the authors).
If you feel your students may not know some authors, you can modify the game by giving them the answer key (as a reference sheet). You can also guide them, in a whole class activity. Or, you can lay out the books (if you have them) on your library tables. Finally, older students can look up the books in the library catalog.
Please rate this activity by leaving feedback. You will earn TpT credits toward future purchases. You can even go back to your "My Purchases" page to leave feedback for previous products."
