One of the most powerful ways we can ask students to think critically
is by examining similarities and differences. The pages in this packet address these skills in a variety of ways! You might choose to have students compare/contrast two books they’ve read independently, two books by the same author, two books you’ve shared as a class through a read-aloud or novel study, or two books they’ve read during Book Clubs. Print off a page or two (or 3 or 4!) each time you want students to compare books they’ve read, and get those kiddos thinking!
