Use the book and movie to teach students how to effectively compare and contrast. This comprehensive standards-based lesson includes everything you need for a successful book vs. movie comparison. First, students will identify and record similarities and differences between the book and movie using an inquiry chart and graphic organizer. Next, students will use a template to compose a paragraph highlighting two similarities and two differences between the book and the movie. Printable and digital versions of the entire lesson are included!
This resource can be completed on paper or online with laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, or any device that supports Google Slides. The included Teacher's Guide includes access to the link that will allow you to make your own copy of the resources for use in Google Classroom/Google Drive.
