This flexible library center can easily be added to a makerspace or be used to promote reading. The library is a wonderful place for students to express themselves creatively and what better way to do so in the library than by making a bookmark. This center can be as structured as you want by using assignment signs. It can connect to lessons on genre, parts of a book, or using resources. Students can make bookmarks to track reading goals, advertise books in the library, or add to a community bookmark basket and inspire other readers.
