Product Description
I chose this interesting book as basis for a English unit for my juniors. It is a story about the worst school disaster in American history that occurred in New London, Texas in 1937. It is a tough read in places but is a great book to explore Texas history as well as tough themes about life. Since it is an unusual choice for a school unit, key facts usually available for well-known books are not available. My students and I created this fact sheet in preparation for our test over the book. Made by Marie Osborne of Seeds of Thought.
