Looking for a way to keep your students reading over the long break? I've got you. Use these simple yet motivating books to read lists to help your students set reading goals for their extended breaks.
Keeping kids reading over a long break can be a challenge. That’s why I created this resource to help you motivate your students.
Have students set a goal for reading over their long break and make a game of it by using the bingo board.
Tie the completion to your current classroom incentive or just make it a fun community building activity by participating in it yourself and encouraging student to “post” pictures of themselves participating on your class messaging app such as class dojo.
There are two options for use:
-Option 1: Students draw a picture of the book cover, write the title, author and rate the book after they have read it
-Option 2: Students write the book title and decorate the “spine” of the book
