This Functional Math Series presents students with the scenario or shopping at a bookstore. Students will work on a variety of functional math skills. Students will work on rounding/utilizing the dollar up method, they will pay for items by counting both mixed dollar and coin combinations, and whole dollar figures. Students will compare varied price points by determining which of two book prices and it is less or more. Students will utilize functional reading skills by scanning the provided price list, and identifying needed information to solve the varied questions. Students will work on determining sufficient funds, finding an order total, determining prices, and MORE! This series is loaded with learning, and ready to go, with no prep necessary. Lessons will continue to be added, as the series is completed!
