Description

Have you tried Boom Cards, yet? These self-checking composing ten digital task cards are perfect for distance learning or for independent practice at school!

***This deck is also part of my Boom Cards Kindergarten Math Bundle!***

This ten frames number sense deck helps students see patterns in the decomposition of the number 10. Each card contains a simple drag and drop puzzle with two-three pieces and a chart for students to complete showing the numbers of red and yellow chips on the ten frame. This virtual math manipulatives experience allows students to manipulate and see the ways combinations of numbers fit together to make ten.

This activity is great for practicing CCSS K.OA.A.4 *For any number from 1 to 9, find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record the answer with a drawing or equation.* and K.CC.B.5 *Count to answer "how many?" questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.*

You can try out this deck with a 4-card preview by clicking here!

When you purchase this product, you will receive a PDF with a link to the digital task cards on the Boom Learning Site.
