Product Description
This is a letter that I send home to parents in case they would like to do a little science project over the winter break that we perform in class on the final days of the year. This letter contains instructions for the family to make "Borax Snowflakes." This is a very inexpensive and relatively safe experiment to perform at home or in the classroom, and students always enjoy making them in class to take home before the break. Then, they get to go home and amaze their family with their scientific knowledge and dazzling crystal design. Who doesn't love crystals?

In addition to detailed directions for making the crystal design, several scientific terms and processes are explained for both the students and parents to understand.

There are two letters included. One letter is written to be sent home over winter break and the other is written to be sent home at any time.

I hope you enjoy!
