Product Description
HELP!! George Newman has just been abducted by an alien from within our Solar System. The crime was committed in such haste that several pieces of evidence have been left behind. Since your client is one of the few non-resident aliens around, he is naturally a suspect. Given the evidence found at the scene, you must defend your client against the kidnapping charges. Good luck, and may the Force be with you.
Students are assigned a client from one of the planets in the Solar System. Earth is not researched, only MVMJSUN(P). Research done in an organizer at stations, optional computer lab as well. Then students construct an argument to exonerate their client using the forensic evidence and their understanding of the 7 planets they researched.
Document recently updated for better research prompts, scientific units, Pluto, and argument paper prompts.
