Product Description
This purchase is for an activity to demonstrate the difference between being a boss and being a leader. There are two labels that state, "Leaders are people who..." and "Bosses are people who are...". Then there are 28 character trait cards (14 for boss and 14 for leader). I put the labels on top of a large piece of chart paper and then taped each character trait to the board. I allowed students to come up one at a time, pick a trait and put it under boss or leader. Then we talked about why that trait related to boss or leader.

There are two copies of this activity. One is all black and white. The other is color coated; all the boss traits are one color and the leader traits are another color.

This is a good visual demonstration and reminder for students on how to show leadership. It also sparked great conversation within our classroom.
