This activity is a great way to teach the r controlled /o/ -or and -ore. I am sure you and your students will have a 'ball'! This activity includes a word sort of -or and -ore words and a recording sheet. Followed by an adorable soccer player craftivity. I chose a soccer player because of the connection to a very popular -or word, SPORT. I have included all the patterns for the craftivity. They are ready to be run on construction paper and your students will love reinforcing their learning with their very own soccer player holding a soccer ball filled with bossy r words. These players make a super cute bulletin board too!!
