There are 5 different ways to learn about your own custom word list.
1. Dip, Read and Make (magnetic letters or other alpha manipulatives).

5. Dip, Read and Write a Sentence
Dip refers to dipping your hand into an empty tissue box and retrieving a bottle cap with a focus word.

You could use spelling words, vocabulary words, sight words (with the exception of activity four in most cases), personal words and so on. No words lists have been provided in this file but you can download our free Dolch and Fry word lists on our blog, click here
Simply write on your bottle cap with a Sharpie (wipe off with an eraser) and store alike words together.
Choose which activity will suit your particular list of words and your students’ skill level.
Copy a few pages for each child. Or students could work in pairs. Print and laminate the instruction page and place copies of the activity page ready to go in a zip bag.
Easily prepare bottle caps (as your students to bring in) by writing your focus words on with a permanent marker.
The activities are designed to be differentiated so you can choose which are appropriate for the levels of reading and writing in your class.
Younger children will need clear guidance as to how to use this resource. An instruction page is provided for each activity.
