The first slide allows students to show where each note is located on the staff. Each mouse click adds one note to the staff. In the final measure the final words, "Bow wow wow," appears in contour on the staff but without notes on the staff. With another few clicks the stick notation disappears from above the staff. Students can then read using solfa and singing, "Bow wow wow" at the end showing contour with their hands. The second slide does exactly the same except that the final three notes are added - mi, then do (these notes are known) then finally re appears between the two. Once again, a few clicks more adds the note stems and then removes the stick notation and leaves only the music on the staff for reading.
