Description
Bow Wow Wow is a favorite song with my first graders-- usually anything involving dogs is a huge hit. This folk song is perfect to teach quarter rest. This lesson is easy to do, and fun! Students will learn all about rhythm from with presentation and printable worksheets.
This product includes a powerpoint to teach the song, introduce quarter rest, and practice playing rhythms with quarter rests. It also comes with a set of printables to accompany the lesson-- like beat charts, a rhythm activity for kids to figure out the rhythms to the song, and worksheets to practice quarter rest (I often leave these for subs!) Everything come in regular and stick notation, and there is a printable lesson plan to keep you on track.
